Pumpkin Smoothies

Materials:
1 cup milk
1 banana, sliced
2 Tbls. cooked pumpkin (baking pumpkin)
Dash of cinnamon

Cut a  baking pumpkin in half Show the children the inside of the pumpkin. Let them help you scoop out the seeds and pulp.  Place the pumpkin halves, cut sides down, on a baking sheet. Bake the pumpkin at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 ¼ hours, or until the flesh is tender.  Allow the pumpkin to cool. Let the children taste the cooked pumpkin to make Pumpkin Smoothies. Combine the ingredients in a blender container. Makes 4 to 6 small servings.
